I‘m pretty excited for this one, folx! Come see me, Abel Folgar, and the poets of @miamipoetryclub at @tomasredradoart on Friday!!
Somehow 2022 was both one of the hardest and best years in recent memory. Gratitude to all the partners in art and writing—to the family and friends who walk this earth with me. I’m pretty excited to see what 2023 has in store for us.

“The Off-Shore residency felt like coming home.” - Yaddyra Peralta
Poetry featured in the On / Off-Shore anthology arose from two collaborative virtual residencies, titled “Off-Shore” and “On-Shore,” in the fall of 2021. Off-Shore paired Caribbean poets from Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Puerto Rico, and San Andrés with Caribbean diaspora poets living in Miami, while On-Shore paired Caribbean diaspora poets living in Miami.
